Brookdale

Population: 1900

The small town of Brookdale is located between Ben Lomond and Boulder Creek on Highway 9. The center of the town is the historic Brookdale Lodge built in 1890 for the loggers in the area. The area enjoys Big Basin redwood forest and scenic streams. Huckleberry Island is located on the San Lorenzo River, and  although surrounded by water it is accessible by bridge and hosts a unique housing area with about 16 homes.  The mountain towns of Boulder Creek, Ben Lomond and Felton offer a variety of your shopping needs.
