Watsonville city is located 17 miles south of Santa Cruz along HWY 1. Located in the fertile Pajaro Valley, the primary industry of the city is agriculture. A historic community, Watsonville has a an "old west" atmosphere and friendly appeal. Vintage buildings and structure still remain intact today due to the efforts of the community. The Main Street is the center of the city with small businesses, resturants, and shoping.
